Everything You Need to Know About Disney's Magical Express
If you're flying into Orlando International airport, Disney's Magical Express just may be your first taste of Disney as you kick off your Disney vacation. If this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, you may be a little overwhelmed or confused about how to get from the airport to your hotel. Keep reading to find out all there is to know about Magical Express!
After you book Magical Express, you will receive some luggage tags for your checked luggage along with instructions on how to use them and where to find Magical Express at Orlando International airport. You can expect to receive those things in the mail 2-3 weeks before your trip begins. Before you leave for the airport, you'll want to attach your luggage tag to any luggage you plan to check.
When you land at Orlando International airport you'll hop on a train to get from your gate to the main terminal. Then you'll follow signs for Magical Express down to level 1 on Side B of the airport. You'll check in at the Magical Express desk with your Magic Band and be directed to your bus. That's it! Sit back and relax and enjoy the ride to your Disney Resort!
Departure from MCO:
When your vacation is coming to an end you'll also be able to rely on Magical Express to get you back to the airport and on your way home. Someone will come by your room and pick up your checked luggage and put it back on the bus. You'll have a piece of paper showing your flight departure time and telling you when you need to be in the resort lobby to board the bus.
What if you don't have a Magic Band yet?
No worries!! Just bring your resort confirmation number and a photo ID. Let the cast member know you don't have a Magic Band yet and they'll take care of you!

What is it and who can use it?
Disney's Magical Express is a complimentary transportation system for guests of Walt Disney World resorts. If you're staying on Disney property AND flying into Orlando International airport (MCO) you are eligible to use Magical Express. Guests not staying on property or flying into Sanford International Airport (SFB) will need to find another mode of transportation upon arrival.Why should you use it?
I am a big fan of Magical Express. It's a little taste of Disney magic right from the get-go and it can take a lot of stress out of your airport experience. Magical Express will pick you up from the airport and deliver you to your Disney resort and they will also bring you back to the airport at the end of your trip. One of my favorite parts of Magical Express is the fact that they will handle your luggage for you! If you're checking a bag Magical Express will pick up your checked luggage from baggage claim and deliver it right to your room. It takes around 3 hours for your bag to arrive in your room so you can go ahead and explore the resort, hit the parks or have dinner and when you return to your room your bag will be there.
